Our house-made Laundry Powder is a simple, effective, and hypoallergenic way to keep everyday laundry fresh. Made with just three mineral-based ingredients, baking soda, washing soda, and Epsom salt, it helps deodorize fabrics while leaving out unnecessary fragrances, dyes, and fillers.
Safe for both standard and high-efficiency (HE) washing machines, this no-sudsing formula may also help reduce the detergent buildup that can occur with heavily sudsing products.
Directions: Use 1–2 tablespoons per load, depending on load size and soil level.
For even better results: Add white vinegar to your fabric softener compartment to help neutralize any remaining washing soda, soften fabrics naturally, and combat lingering odors. For heavily soiled or greasy loads, add 1–2 teaspoons of your favorite castile soap or laundry detergent to boost cleaning power.
1lb of powder is enough for approximately 22 loads at 1Tbsp per load

Use approximately one tablespoon for a regular sized load. Add to drum or dispenser according to your manufacturers recommendations.
Do not use with vinegar in the wash with the soda as this will neutralize the sodium bicarbonate. Only place vinegar in a receptacle specifically designed for fabric softener.

Pro Tip: For extra cleaning power add a very small amount (~1 tsp) of our concentrated liquid detergent.
To soften your clothes, add about 1/8 - 1/4 cup of normal distilled vinegar to the fabric softener compartment of your washer. This will bring the pH back to neutral and help soften your clothes and further reduce odors.
